Markent Personnel is looking for a Sr. HR Generalist that will be ready to grown into a management role within 12-18 months.

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with leaders in supporting their functional areas. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, training, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field required
  • Minimum five years of related HR experience required

Essential Job Functions:
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations.
  • Handles employee relations concerns along with the leader.
  • Administers and assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
